Join us for our 30th Holiday Challenge. We all know that when the holidays are upon us, busy schedules get in the way of our workouts, food and treats are a plenty, and stress levels run high. The Holiday Challenge aims to keep your workouts consistent, provide you with healthy holiday eating tips, and tools to manage stress levels. The overall goal of the challenge is to NOT let the busyness of the season get in the way of your health. Make it through the holiday season healthier with Galter LifeCenter! Join us and earn a prize! Stay on track! Be accountable! Stay fit and healthy!

Goal
Manage holiday stress and excess by exercising at least 150 minutes per week to maintain weight or 300 minutes per week if you are aiming for weight loss. Feel great throughout the holiday season by maintaining or losing weight!

How to Participate:

  • Register for the challenge at the Courtesy Desk or on the My Wellness portal under the Courses/Events Schedule before November 27.
  • Ensure there is a valid email on your membership account. Email will be necessary to participate.
  • Complete an average of at least 150 minutes of exercise each week.
  • Submit your total minutes exercised each week by completing the survey sent to your email, you must submit your sweatshirt size and activity totals via email to qualify for the prize. Download a paper log sheet here to assist with daily tracking. 

Prizes
Participants that complete the challenge will receive a GLC hoodie. Prize pick up begins January 9, 2022 at the Fitness Desk.
