Join us as we celebrate National Senior Health and Fitness Day. This is a nationwide health and fitness event for older adults, always held the last Wednesday in May during Older Americans Month. 2020 will mark the 27th anniversary of the program, and more than 120,000 older adults will participate in events with more than 1,200 locations across the country on the same day. 

This event is free and includes special virtual lectures and classes all designed with the older adult in mind. Join in from the comfort of your home! All classes can be completed using little or no fitness equipment. Register in advance for each class you plan to attend by clicking on the green register button and providing your name and email address.

In an effort to stay connected and keep us all moving, we are offering these classes free of charge. We have been humbled by the generosity and thoughtfulness of our GLC family as several of you have asked how you can help. We’ve established a Team Member Crisis Fund, which will be used to assist team members who are financially impacted by COVID-19. WARNING: Health-related injuries may result from incorrect or excessive use of these exercises.Use caution and common sense before undertaking an exercise program, particularly if the user has a family history of high blood pressure or heart disease, is over the age of 45, smokes, has high cholesterol, is obese, or has not exercised regularly in the past year. If, at any time while exercising, the user experiences faintness, dizziness, pain, or shortness of breath, he or she must stop immediately. Make sure you have a large enough space in which to exercise safely.Since Galter LifeCenter has no control over how you use these classes, you agree to release Galter LifeCenter, its instructors and other staff from any liability for injuries you may incur participating in this activity.
