 Facility Updates

East Pool Closure
Upon reopening the East Pool we encountered some unexpected issues with the plaster on the bottom of the pool and had to reclose it. Due to the high demand of pool servicing in the city, our project will not begin until Monday, October 9, and will take approximately three weeks to complete. We want to ensure the pools are fully functional and ready for member usage. The East Whirlpool will also reopen once the East Pool is ready.

During this time, all Aquatic classes will remain in the West Pool. Reservations for lap swim will resume on Monday, October 2, and capacity levels will be limited to 3 people per lane.

Those who have Private Swim Lessons in the West Pool can resume on Monday, October 2. Once the East Pool reopens, swim instructors will be able to resume Private Swim Lessons in the East Pool. We are currently reassessing the timeline for fee-based Fall Aquatic programming (e.g. Learn-to-Swim.)

Facility Hours Expanding
We are excited to announce we are extending our facility hours! Beginning Friday, October 6, the new facility hours will be:

Monday - Thursday: 5 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Friday: 5 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday: 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Community Wellness Center
We are excited to share that our Swedish Hospital Community Wellness Center has found a new home in Galter LifeCenter. The Community Wellness Center provides access to high quality, patient centered care to serve our diverse community while identifying and addressing health disparities.

Moving the Community Wellness Center to Swedish Hospital’s campus will further the Community CARE Department’s mission to honor the human dignity of all by building connections that expand the reach and definition of healthcare.

The KidCenter is currently closed and we do not have plans to reopen it at this time.
We are facing many challenges with staffing shortages and need to focus our efforts on keeping other areas of the facility operational. We are hopeful that these issues will resolve over time.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

 Safety Protocols

Galter LifeCenter works with the infection control team at Swedish Hospital and regularly monitors government developments and requirements to offer services in the safest manner.
