 Winter Weather Advisory

Give yourself plenty of extra time to get to classes and be very careful on the slippery roads and sidewalks. We will do the best we can to keep up with snow removal and salting sidewalks on our campus.

Winter Parking Updates

Please be aware of neighborhood parking restrictions and utilize our free parking lots. Members have access to park in the member lot using their key tags to enter. Additionally, members can park in the covered Swedish Hospital garage and get a validated ticket at the Courtesy Desk.

  • The street parking on Francisco Ave. adjacent to River Park is city property. We are not responsible for plowing or shoveling these areas. Please be aware you park at their own risk in these spots.
  • Snow route parking on Foster Ave. is in effect from December 1 - April 1 when snow is over 2 inches deep.

 Facility Updates

GLC Member Parking Lot
The member parking lot is available for use in a shared capacity with the Swedish Hospital COVID-19 testing tent.

In an effort to manage traffic and operate safely, please observe the following rules when using the member parking lot:

  • ENTER ONLY using the South gates on Carmen Avenue.
  • SLOW DOWN. There is a lot of foot traffic and we want to keep everyone safe.
  • DO NOT drive thru the testing tent. That area is reserved for patients being tested.
  • EXIT ONLY using the North gate near the Swedish Hospital Parking Garage entrance.

Member Parking Lot

The KidCenter is currently closed and we do not have plans to reopen it at this time.
Unfortunately, we are facing many challenges with staffing shortages and need to focus our efforts on keeping other areas of the facility operational. We are hopeful that these issues will resolve over time.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue to work toward a return to our full pre-pandemic operations!

 Safety Protocols
