Pilates Workshops


Pilates Equipment for Beginners Seminar

Join us for a 6-week introduction to the Pilates equipment! In this 50-minute class you’ll explore the various pieces of equipment; reformers, chairs, barrels, and towers. You’ll get a better understanding of what a Pilates private session is all about, and what kinds of exercises are done in the Tower and Stretch & Springs classes! Previous Pilates experience is not required.

Pilates Barrels Workshop

Join us for a 6-week introduction to the Pilates barrels! In this 50-minute class you’ll explore the various barrels; ladder barrel, small barrel and spine corrector. These tools are great for lifting and opening your hips and upper body, working on your extensions and of course finding your powerhouse (core!). Previous Pilates experience is not required.

Pilates Chair Workshop

Join us for a 6-week introduction to the Pilates Wunda Chair and High Chair! In this 50-minute class you’ll find out about about the origins of the chairs and get hands-on instruction as you learn the exercises and variations that can be done on these little “wundas”. See how the chair helps to engage your abs and get your powerhouse moving! Previous Pilates experience is helpful, but not required. Not recommended for those clients with chronic back, shoulder, or balance issues.


Pilates Kicking Workshop for Swimmers

Join us for one of two 6-week workshops in the Pilates Studio where we will work on techniques for improving your kicking! In this 50-minute class you’ll get a great workout as we strengthen the abs, hips and glutes. Learn to lengthen through the spine, pull from the back and kick from the hips. Discover how the Pilates method is the missing link in your dry land training! Previous Pilates experience is not required.
