The GLC Games, inspired by the Summer Olympics, is a members-only, team-based competition. There will be 10 sporting events to choose from, including: boxing, cycling, rowing, running, swimming, table tennis, weight lifting and a super sprint triathlon.
Teams can include up to 8 participants and will represent the country of their choosing. If you need help finding a team, the GLC Games Committee will assist you.
Gather your team, pick your events and GO FOR THE GOLD!
Registration:
Registration fee is $20 and for members only. Sign up through the Courses/Events Schedule in the
My Wellness portal beginning
Monday, July 1.
Separate registration is required for the 5K run/walk and the super sprint triathlon.
Teams and Competition Rules:
Teams can include up to a maximum of 8 participants. If you need help in finding a team, the GLC Games Committee will assist them in finding one.
You will compete against members from other teams. The more events you try, the more chances you have to win! Event winners will be chosen based on the highest score from each time. The country earning the most points will be awarded the overall challenge winners! Individual awards will also be given to the top three athletes for each event.
The top three competitors in each event will receive a medal:
- Winning a gold medal for your team is 10 extra points
- Winning a silver medal for your team is 8 extra points
- Winning a bronze medal for your team is 6 extra points
- Participation in the event is 5 points
Medal earning categories for each event (except the Table Tennis Tournament) are:
- Males (29-years-old and younger)
- Females (29-years-old and younger)
- Males (30 to 54-years-old)
- Females (30 to 54-years-old)
- Males (55-years-old and older)
- Females (55-years-old and older)
