These non-contact workshops will give you the proper tools to use boxing to your advantage in your workouts. In a small-group setting, these one-hour workshops will teach you real fundamental techniques used in and out of the ring. Sign up for one or all three. Hit Hard, Train Smart!
October 29: Stance and Footwork
This workshop will cover the form and posture of a boxer through learning the proper, fundamental boxing stance. From there, participants will learn how to maneuver like a boxer while staying offensive and defensive.
November 5: Fundamental Punches and Defense
This workshop will teach the proper form and technique of the four fundamental punches in boxing: the jab, cross, hook and uppercut. Participants will also learn how to defend each punch with sound technique.
November 12: Bag Work and Drills
This workshop will cover how to practice and apply boxing skills to maximize overall fitness benefits. Equipment tutorials will also be covered, such as the heavy bag and speed bag.
