Philosophy that drives my work:
I love working with people and watching them accomplish their goals, whether it's weight loss, improving their strength, flexibility, or cardiovascular level, or simply working harder or improving their body awareness. The philosophy that drives my approach is stressing the importance of the connection between the mind, body, and spirit and the setting of realistic and attainable goals. Never beat yourself up if you fall short of a goal. Just stay focused on the end results and take a fresh start. A positive attitude is half the battle.  

My specialty area is threefold:  
Women's health and pre/post natal wellness and pelvic floor work, youth fitness, and helping individuals take their fitness to new levels by using heart rate monitor training. I have specialty certifications in perinatal aqua and fitness as well as Total Control pelvic pyramid training, youth fitness, and HeartZones heart rate monitor training.  

My professional focus:
I love to work with women pre and post natal and help them develop exercises suitable for their  bodies. I also love helping individuals meet and exceed their fitness goals. I have struggled with my weight in the past so I'm especially sensitive and empathetic to those with weight loss as one of their goals. I love engaging individuals and finding out what they are looking to accomplish. Providing excellent service, building relationships, and changing lives through goal achievement is my professional focus .

My favorite workout:
I enjoy long cardio workouts that test your endurance and I also enjoy the endorphin release of short, fast workouts that challenge me to push the pace. I am loving sandbag and kettle bell workouts for increased strength with 3-4 minute cardio blasts in between sets.  

Quick note: 
Just as much as I love sweating it out in an intense workout, I thoroughly enjoy cuddling up with a great book or taking a long bath surrounded by scented candles. I can be referred to as a Quiet Storm as I have a calm, quiet demeanor but am quite effective in pushing others to achieve their goals. I have struggled with being overweight in my younger years so I can relate to and empathize with those who find weight loss challenging. I love Galter LifeCenter and am grateful for the contributions I am able to make in the areas of fitness and wellness.
