Interests outside of work: I love staying active. Anything involving the outdoors I really enjoy such as hiking, biking, playing sports, yard games, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing. Family is a big priority for me, so spending time with them is fun and rewarding. I also love summer festivals and live music.
Philosophy that drives my work: With my clients, I like to focus on the phrase "a healthy way of life." I try to help them realize that exercise is only a piece of the puzzle and to really improve your overall health, they must address other areas as well. I also try to take a gradual approach concerning fitness goals. Having a big goal is great, but can sometimes be overwhelming. Breaking up large goals into small, easily achievable ones allows clients to build momentum towards their main goal.
Professional Focus: Weight loss, Circuit training, Boot Camp instructor and Sports Conditioning.
