Philosophy that drives my work:
I was drawn to Traditional Chinese Medicine because it espouses an integrated, holistic system of medicine that regards each individual as unique and provides tools to help achieve optimal health by creating and maintaining balance. I believe that we cannot separate ourselves from nature but instead are nourished and sustained through our connection to it. Traditional Chinese Medicine beautifully describes our health as a reflection of the things that we can identify in nature such as heat, cold, wind, dryness, and dampness. To achieve optimal health is to have a healthy balance of each of these elements. My intention is to be responsive to each person’s health concerns and to facilitate healing in a way that encompasses mind, body and spirit.
