Please review the levels for children's swim classes and include your child's level in the skills/comfort section below.


Level 1:
• Enter/Exit water safely
• Blow bubbles with mouth  
• Submerge face while supported
• Float on front and back while supported
• Kick on front and back while supported
• Push off bench to instructor
• Jump in with assistance


Level 2:
• Blow bubbles with nose and mouth
• Retrieve submerged object from bottom of pool
• Float on front and back unsupported
• Doggie paddle unsupported for 5 yards
• Kick on front and back unsupported for 5 yards
• Push off bench with face in water
• Jump in unassisted 
 
Level 3:
• Streamline on front and back supported
• Front crawl for 5 yards
• Intro to lateral breathing
• Backstroke for 5 yards
• Elementary backstroke with arms and legs supported
Level 4:
• Streamline on front and back with flutter kick
• Front crawl with lateral breathing for 10 yards
• Backstroke for 10 yards
• Elementary backstroke for 10 yards
 
Level 5:
• Front crawl for 25 yards
• Backstroke for 25 yards
• Elementary backstroke for 25 yards
• Breaststroke pull for 10 yards
• Breaststroke kick for 10 yards

Level 6:
• Front crawl for 50 yards
• Backstroke for 50 yards
• Breaststroke for 50 yards
• Dolphin kick for 25 yards
• Flip turns
 
Level 7:
• Front crawl with streamline for 100 yards
• Backstroke with streamline for 100 yards
• Breaststroke for 50 yards
• Butterfly for 25 yards
