Dr. Shao specializes in vascular surgery and has been practicing medicine for 3 years. He has been a member at Galter LifeCenter since 2012.

Dr. Shao's favorite workout is weight-training and high-intensity cardio.

He recommends patients looking to start working out start with the Fundamental Fitness Program. It is a comprehensive program that covers nutrition and diet, not just exercise strategies. When starting out, it helps to have supervision to keep yourself accountable.  Over time, that will hopefully translate to a lifelong commitment to a healthy lifestyle. 

His philosophy on exercise is that regular exercise and fitness are important facets of a well-balanced and full life.
