Total Control for pelvic health

Childbirth, menopause, illness and aging can cause or aggravate bladder control conditions in women. In fact, nearly half of American women will suffer from some bladder control problems during their lifetime, according to the Women’s Health Foundation.

Galter LifeCenter offers Total Control sessions, which are designed to teach women of all ages how to relieve their symptoms without surgery or medication.

In this class, participants learn to strengthen and train their pelvic and abdominal muscles in order to decrease the occurrence of incontinence and improve their lifestyles. Class participants also receive a copy of the book, You Go Girl…But Only When You Want To. The exercise ball and a resistance band are available for purchase.

Since its inception, approximately 25 percent of Total Control participants have reported the cessation of their control issues and of the remainder, two thirds report significant improvement.
