Beginning - TaiChi

Tai Chi is a choreographed sequence of movements characterized by an emphasis on relaxation, slowness, coordination and mindfulness, resulting in profound feelings of well-being. Among its benefits are improved bone density, brain function, mobility, balance, and cardio fitness, enhanced circulation, boosted metabolism, and increased strength in the lower body. This class will teach the “Long Form, part 1”, developed by master H.H. Lui. It is more complex and challenging than the morning Tai Chi classes.   Instructor Lin Shook Schalek has practiced Master Liu’s Long form since 1972.
