March—Monica Jackson, Aquatics
Monica leads our expanding Family Swim Service by supervising the staff and organizing the activities for family swim. She also is a very strong aquababies instructor and has been very helpful in launching our new semi-private aquababies program. Along with teaching, Monica is a wonderful pool attendant and teaches private swim lessons. Monica a true asset to the team and consistently finds ways to ensure her team and our members have a quality experience in the pool and at Galter LifeCenter. Congratulations Monica.
April—Amy Washington, Member Services
Amy Washington has been a member service representative for 4 years. As a regular user of Galter LifeCenter along with her family, she does a fantastic job of establishing report with prospects and helping guide them in their own individual journey to meet their goals and needs. Amy does a great job with connecting with other staff, knowing and using programs and services and participates in many activities. It is with this commitment and devotion that she has recently been recognized by both members and peers. Amy is a great asset to Galter LifeCenter.
May—Debra Sitar, KidCenter
Debra has done an outstanding job supervising the KidCenter and providing exceptional service to our members and their children. She has influenced her staff to not only get more involved in Galter through exercise and committee work, but also to actively promote membership, programs and services to members and their children. Debra serves on the Employer of Choice Team and has specifically contributed greatly to both the Rewards and Recognition and Social subcommittees. Debra enjoys boot camps and the Polar Challenge and enjoys good friendly competition. Congratulations Debra!
June—David Flores, Environmental Services
David is a new employee who has adjusted to Galter LifeCenter and the environmental services department very quickly. He proved that he is willing to go the “extra mile” by learning with our members. David worked day shifts, overnight and afternoon and is always willing to be flexible. He is very detailed in his work and follows up with his supervisors promptly. David has shown to be a strong worker and sets a great example for his team. Congratulations David!
July—Lena Pittman, Integrative Therapy
Lena consistently raises the bar. She exudes stellar customer service, has intuitive hands and a caring heart. Add that up with an intense work ethic and 15 years of bodywork experience and you get Lena-diligent, compassionate and someone who consistently helps everyone around her! She continually sets the example and we’re proud to have her aboard. Congratulations Lena! Thanks for all you do.
August—Vannessa Recinos, Aquatics
Vannessa Recinos, Aquatic Program Supervisor, has taken full ownership of her position within the Aquatics department. Vannessa is an employee who initiates change and supports her teams growth and development. She was instrumental in the implementation of Online services and standardizing the Learn-to-Swim program. Vannessa has been an employee of Galter LifeCenter for over 5 years and has worked multiple roles with an emphasis on membership, administration and still teaches group exercise classes. Vannessa is a wonderful asset to the Aquatic department and the organization as whole.
September—Delia Arroyo, Wellness
Delia Arroyo is our new Wellness Supervisor. She is a responsible, caring and loyal individual. She was recognized by her peers as a hardworking, helpful coworker. She goes above and beyond her duties and has a great attention to details. She has many fresh ideas for our programs! We are lucky to have her as a part of our team!
October—Jandra Fraire, Personal Training and Group Fitness
Jandra was recognized by staff and members as a stand out employee. Members said Jandra’s “attitude aspiring”, and say she is “awesome and encouraging”. She was recognized with several comment cards about her group exercise teachings; as well as for her water training, that she hosted for her coworkers. Jandra also was recognized directly to her manager about how she is a wonderful Personal Trainer. Jandra continues to perform with consistent excellence. Jandra embodies what Galter LifeCenter is and inspires people each day (members and coworkers)! We are lucky to have her be a part of our team!
November—Heather Christoffer, Concierge and Courtesy Desk
Heather received praise for jumping in to help the Courtesy Desk while performing her concierge duties. Heather is a great set of second eyes and ears for our programs and can be considered a “hub” for all that happens here. She is smart, pleasant, hardworking and a great co-worker! Heather also received praise for excellent service, follow up, and program registration changes. We are proud to have Heather as a part of our team!
December—Caitlin McGrath, Personal Training, Wellcoaching and Group Fitness
Caitlin has a passion for personal training and a real knack for meeting individuals where they’re at! She has taken a leadership role in the Polar Program. We are lucky to have Caitlin as a part of our Galter LifeCenter Team.
January—Jennifer McBride, Aquatics
Jennifer has been instrumental in setting up the new payroll spreadsheets for the departments at Galter LifeCenter. She has worked on the Safety / Service packet for Aquatics as well as the Quiz and overall checklist for pool personnel. Jennifer continues to step up and offer her knowledge of excel while helping her fellow co-workers! We are proud to have Jennifer as a part of the GLC team!
