Dr. Wilcoski specializes in Family Medicine and has been practicing medicine for 22 years.  She has been a member of Galter LifeCenter since it opened in 1991. 

Her favorite workouts include walking and biking and she finds that the balance ball keeps her core muscles strong. She has dabbled in yoga and feels it is especially helpful when focusing on breathing.  

If you are new to exercise she recommends starting with walking. No special equipment is required and there is a low risk of injury. Use a pedometer to measure your starting level and then gauge your progress by the percent increase. The GLC is perfect for when the weather is uncooperative or if you prefer a smooth surface.  

Her philosophy on exercise is to find an activity you enjoy. "The exercise is much more likely to become a habit and part of your lifestyle if you're having fun!"
