The Galter LifeCenter opened its doors in 1991 and was the vision of a group of medical professionals who saw a need for a wellness center for the north side of Chicago.
Galter LifeCenter is affiliated with Swedish Covenant Hospital and the Evangelical Covenant Church. The facility is named after Chicago philanthropists Jack and Dollie Galter. Their generous gift, along with the contributions of many others, helped make Galter LifeCenter a reality.
